Volunteering your time at WKTV is a rewarding experience. At WKTV, you learn to communicate with your community by using the latest in professional video and television technology. Some volunteers have been a part of the WKTV for over twenty years! If you have an idea for your own TV show, contact any staff person at WKTV and let the process begin. Classes are important, but not necessary. You will need to become certified in operating TV equipment, but don't let that scare you. It's not as daunting as it sounds and once you're on your way, it's a lot of fun! And, WKTV offers a four-week equipment training class several times a year for new volunteers.
